Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Multilateral Affairs Ambassador Teshome Toga, along with an OSC delegation, held a fruitful meeting at the OSC headquarters in Addis Ababa with representatives from the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD).
Discussions centered on strengthening collaboration in education, technology, and capacity-building, with a focus on knowledge-sharing, joint training initiatives, and co-hosted events. These efforts aim to empower communities through skills development and innovative solutions to tackle complex societal challenges.
The delegation included IGAD Head of Mission to Ethiopia; Mr. Abebaw Bihonegn, Senior Coordinator for Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation; Dr. Kebede Kassa Tsegaye, and Mr. Fisseha Meseret Kindie, Education Officer (TVET) Meseret Kindie.
