Secretary-General Manssour Bin Mussallam held a fruitful meeting with Dr. Rita Bissoonauth, Director of the UNESCO Liaison Office to the African Union (AU), the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), and Representative to Ethiopia, accompanied by Mr. Ali Daou, Head of UNESCO’s Culture Programme, Dr. Abdoulaye Salifou, Chief Education Sector Specialist, Higher Education, AI & ICTs, and Mr. Rodney Ondjika, Liaison Officer.
The exchanges explored avenues for strengthened cooperation between the OSC and UNESCO, particularly in the areas of education, culture, and innovation — reinforcing their shared vision of promoting inclusive development and fostering mutual understanding across the Greater South.
