The Ambassador of the Republic of the Congo to Ethiopia, and Permanent Representative to the African Union, H.E. Daniel Owassa, today deposited the Instrument of Acceptance to the Ascension of Membership of the Organisation of Southern Cooperation (OSC), at a ceremony hosted by the Secretary-General of OSC, H.E. Manssour Bin Mussallam, in Addis Ababa.
The Republic of the Congo is a founding member of the OSC. The depositing of the Instrument of Acceptance signifies the completion of the full membership process by countries in the Global South. This next phase now will be national consultations within the Republic of the Congo to concretise its membership.
