Secretary-General-elect and Djiboutian Prime Minister hold bilateral meeting

The Secretary-General-elect of the Organisation of Educational Cooperation (OEC), H.E. Manssour Bin Mussallam, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Djibouti, H.E. Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed, held a bilateral meeting at the Prime Minister’s office.

The Secretary-General-elect expressed his gratitude to Djibouti for having hosted the International Summit on Balanced and Inclusive Education, and for having signed the Universal Declaration of Balanced and Inclusive Education (UDBIE) and the Constitutive Charter of the OEC. H.E. Bin Mussallam emphasized the Organisation’s readiness to promote sustainable relations and confederate efforts and initiatives with Djibouti in areas of common interest.

The Prime Minister expressed his country’s determination to support the development and the implementation of the Organisation’s programmes of work and re-affirmed Djibouti’s commitment to the values and principles of the UDBIE.

The Secretary-General-elect was bestowed the rank of Commander in the National Order of the 27th of June by the Prime Minister in recognition of his commitments and endeavors to the establishment of the OEC.
