8th September 2025, Addis Ababa — The Secretary-General of the Organisation of Southern Cooperation (OSC), H.E. Manssour Bin Mussallam, met with H.E. William Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya, on the margins of the Second Africa Climate Summit in Addis Ababa.
During the meeting, the Secretary-General emphasised that as old forms of multilateralism falter, South–South cooperation is not merely relevant — it is indispensable. Collectively, a Third Way of Development can be forged, opening new horizons of sustainability, justice, and shared prosperity.
H.E. Manssour Bin Mussallam underlined that the road ahead is arduous: it requires vision translated into action and strategy forged into reality. Above all, it calls for the courage to overcome the terrain of historic defeats by achieving authentic unity in diversity.
The Secretary-General affirmed that Africa’s voice — elevated within a coalition of the willing across the Greater South — can shape the future that Peoples demand and deserve.
