Secretary-General met with the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone

Secretary-General Manssour Bin Mussallam held a fruitful meeting with H.E. Julius Maada Bio, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, on the margins of the Third Africa High Level Forum on South-South and Triangular Cooperation for Sustainable Development, held in Freetown.

The exchanges focused on developing cooperation between the OSC and Sierra Leone, as well as enhancing South-South cooperation among the countries of the Greater South. They also discussed the current initiatives of the OSC in the areas of Balanced and Inclusive Education, endogenous technologies, transdisciplinary research, and financing for development.

The Secretary-General, accompanied by his Special Envoy for Multilateral Affairs, Teshome Toga Chanaka, is representing the Organisation of Southern Cooperation (OSC) at the Third Africa High Level Forum organised in the country by the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) of the African Union and focused on the Role of the Global South in Reshaping the New International Order.
