The 1st Meeting of the Ministerial Committee of the Common Leveraging Union of Borrowers (CLUB) started today, 2 June, in Addis Ababa. The CLUB is a union of sovereign borrowing countries that addresses the critical need for development finance of OSC Member States, for transformative, sustainable, and multidimensional development. Through collective negotiation and borrower coordination, the CLUB aims to reduce the external debt burden of Member States and secure highly concessional finance.
