Investing in human capital through targeted capacity-building initiatives

As part of its objective for effective communications and increased visibility, the Public Relations and Engagement (PURE) Department, conducted a two-day intensive training course for staff within the organisation of Southern Cooperation (OSC) on 18 and 19 April.

The training, which is part of the OSC’s Institutional Learning Programme, is designed to empower staff with essential communication tools and protocols. Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, participants gained insights into how to craft impactful narratives, manage mainstream, brand guidelines, as well as how to maximise impact on social media platforms.

Beyond fostering internal cohesion, effective communication is instrumental in fostering external partnerships and amplifying the OSC’s impact. By equipping staff with the requisite skills and resources, the OSC endeavours to enhance its outreach, fortify its brand identity and cultivate meaningful engagements with stakeholders.
